SUNDAY MORNINGS

During 9:00 am service

Nursery (Newborn – 18 months) located next to Bethany Kids Ministry Check-in
Toddler/Preschool (18 months – 4 years) located within the Children’s Ministry area, lower level
Pre-K/K located in the Early Elementary area, lower level of the Children’s Ministry area
Discovery Zone kids’ worship (available for 1st-6th grade) located within the Children’s Ministry area, upstairs

During 10:30 am service

1st-2nd grade small group located in the Early Elementary area, lower level of the Children’s Ministry area
3rd-4th grade small group located within the Children’s Ministry area, upstairs
RESOLVE (5th-6th grade) located within the Children’s Ministry area, upstairs, in their own unique space (check out their page with all the events unique to them)

If visiting BCC for the first time, plan an additional 10 minutes to check in your children and get them to the right classes.

Apart from guided parent/guardian tours, for the safety of our children, only approved, background-checked volunteers will be allowed in the Children’s Ministry area.

Family Resources: Preschool – Elementary

This month’s lessons:
July 5 – Psalms of Wisdom – Psalm 19 – BRITE Idea: God is good.
July 12 – Psalms of Lament – Psalm 22 – BRITE Idea: God is good even when we are hurting.
July 19 – Psalms of Trust – Psalm 23 – BRITE Idea: God is our Good Shepherd.
July 26 – Psalms of Thanksgiving – Psalm 136 – BRITE Idea: God does good things for His people.

Sick Policy

To keep our classrooms as healthy as possible, we ask that you please keep your child home if he or she has exhibited any of the following symptoms in the past 24 hours:

LETHARGY: unusual tiredness or inability to participate appropriately, which often signals illness.
FEVER: should be fever-free for 24 hours without medication.
VOMITING/DIARRHEA: none within the past 24 hours.
STREP THROAT or PINK EYE (conjunctivitis): on antibiotics for at least 24 hours; no matting or drainage from pink eye.
RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS: free from persistent cough, heavy or colored nasal discharge, or a sore throat.
SKIN CONDITIONS: no unexplained or contagious rashes, open sores, or weeping wounds.
OTHER ILLNESSES/CONDITIONS: free from head lice, ringworm, chickenpox, known bedbugs in the home, or any symptoms of a contagious illness.
A positive RSV, COVID, flu, or strep test or has been diagnosed with impetigo, hand-foot-mouth, or any other contagious illness in the past 5 days.

Please do not allow anyone to attend (kids or volunteers) who has come in close contact with anyone that you know has had these symptoms in the last 5 days.

MV CAMP MOWING – 8/15
BCC Kids and Students attend Mahoning Valley Christian Service Camp each summer. One of the ways we support the camp is by mowing the 20-25 acres one time during the summer season. The more we can have on our mowing team, the faster we will get the job done! Sign up to help at bccanderson.org/mvmowing.

CHURCH FAMILY PICNIC – 8/30 – 4:30 PM – BEULAH PARK, ALEXANDRIA
It’s the end of summer! Enjoy the last of the warm weather with your BCC family for a fried and baked chicken (and chicken fingers for the kids!) picnic. You supply the sides and desserts. More info and signups at bccanderson.org/churchpicnic.

SINGLE SERVICE FAMILY SUNDAY – 9/6 – 10:30 AM
In honor of Labor Day, families will worship together in “Big Church” at 10:30am, with donuts and drinks in the Gym at 10am. No children’s classes, including nursery & toddlers, this Sunday. Church offices will be closed the following Monday, September 7th. An on-call pastor will be available if needed.

FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL (AND CHILI COOKOFF) – 10/5 – 4:30 PM – BCC BARN
Bring the whole family for our annual Fall Family Festival! Inflatables for the kids, bonfires and ice cream, hayrides, live music, food drive, and our all-time favorite – the Chili Cookoff! There might be only one champion, but everybody wins! Sign up to help with food for the meal.
