WELCOME!
By embarking on this journey, this training in the discipleship of studying God’s Word, we are answering the prayer that Bethany Christian Church would continue to be a light in our world and salt in our community. We do not know what the future holds or how the church will need to be reshaped to continue to make disciples in the future. However, we do know that the heart of every thriving church is a group of people who are willing to be counted in to follow Jesus in praying, studying, worshiping, serving, speaking out, and giving.
This reading plan is a simple tool to begin (or continue) our training in studying deeply the Word of God—specifically the study of the New Testament. Each day there are two Scripture readings listed. By reading the first reference, you will read through the entire New Testament before the end of May. If you are just beginning your deep study training or this is too much information at once, the second reference is for selected, shorter verses.
Whether you read the shorter passages or dive deep into reading the whole New Testament in the next five months, you are on the verge of something wonderful and beneficial to your own discipleship and the life and vitality of Bethany Christian Church and the larger Kingdom of God.
