Whether you’re wondering what to wear, where to park your car, or what our worship style is like, we’ve got you covered. Explore some of our most frequently asked questions below so you can know exactly what to expect this Sunday at Bethany Christian Church. We can’t wait to meet you!
Where is Bethany Christian Church?
1920 N. Rangeline Rd. (At the intersection of Rangeline and Cross St)
Anderson Indiana 46012
What Should I Wear?
Dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable! You’ll see everything from “Sunday best” to jeans and t-shirts here. We care much more about you being here than what you’re wearing, so come as you are.
Where Should I Park?
Our main parking lot is located on the south side of the church and is best accessed from Rangeline Road. Just drive back until you see the large “Main Entrance” sign. Park anywhere you’d like and head inside! Once you walk through the doors, you’ll see our Welcome Center right to your left. Stop by and say hello—our volunteers would love to meet you and answer any questions.
Where Do My Children Go?
We love families, and we want to make drop-off as easy as possible for you! We have dedicated environments tailored specifically for different age groups. When you arrive, just head over to the Welcome Center. Our team will be thrilled to greet you, check your kids in safely, and personally walk your family to the right classrooms.
What type of music and worship can I expect?
Our worship services feature a dynamic blend of today’s newest worship songs and the time-tested hymns of our faith. We believe praise should be vibrant and varied, which is why you’ll hear everything from choirs, ensembles, and soloists to a full range of instruments—including guitars, keyboards, drums, brass, and woodwinds. Truly, we use anything and everything we can to express our joy, adoration, and thanks to God!
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
Not at all! If you are visiting with us, please do not feel any obligation to give. Your presence is a gift to us in itself. For those who consider Bethany Christian Church their home and want to express their gratitude by supporting what God is doing through our community, we provide opportunities to give as you feel led.
Should I take communion?
At Bethany Christian Church, communion is open to all believers who desire to participate. You do not need to be a member of our church to join us at the table.
Communion is a special time during each service where we remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, which brought us forgiveness and a restored relationship with God and each other. We partake in two symbols: a small piece of bread, representing His body, and a small cup of juice, representing His blood. If you love Jesus, you are welcome to share this meal with us.
What accessibility options do you have for the hearing impaired?
We want everyone to fully experience our services! If you have trouble hearing, assistive listening devices (amplifiers) and printed copies of the morning’s sermon are available at our Welcome Center—just ask a volunteer when you arrive. Additionally, all lyrics to our worship songs and key scripture verses are projected on the large screens during the service.
